CLASS OR ACTIVITIES THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
Home Economics has been a big influence in my life. I have developed my skill is sewing to make a living and to help with clothing my children. As a matter of fact, several people have asked me to sew for them but I have felt like I was not a professional. I have sewn my daughter's wedding dress and made shawls for children and grandchildren. I have made little blessing tuxes for my grandsons. For my granddaughter, I have made a blessing and baptismal dress from the leftover wedding dress lace. I have had to pass my skills on to my children, and granddaughter. I have enjoyed the compliments. Mr. Kerr, my American problems teacher has been a great influence in passing his life experiences on to his students. I was always able to go to him whenever I have a problem.

SINCE 1952, which covers a large expanse of years especially since I am still only 39 years old:
I have worked for many years as a nurses aide which I was trained for right out of high school. I married Lemuel Allen Abbott in 1957 in the Logan Temple. We were married just shy of 41 years when he passed away.
I have raised seven children which includes five boys and two girls. I helped raise my grandchildren and spoiled them rotten
I believe being a good mother and raising children is an art and looking back now, I never realized how much I would need the skills until my grandchildren came along and I had the privilege to help. I also had to use my skills as a nurse, as I took care of a husband with his ill health.
HOBBIES/INTERESTS/ TALENTS: My hobbies and interests are playing on the Internet and the wonderful people all around the world. I have even set up my own web page and feel very happy about the results. I've had so many forums to speak and get all kinds of input. I have been working on genealogy and on my family history trying to get all the information I can on both my husband and my side of the family. I still sew and work on projects with anyone that needs my help with these areas of expertise.
