CLASS OR ACTIVITY THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE: probably working on the school paper and learning the basics of writing and selling advertising to businesses. I have used both off these activities many times. Also enjoyed many school activities attended with my friends. Definitely the class I would never take again is algebra.
My life since 1952: the most important activity was marrying Hartley Anderson on December 1952. There hasn't been a dull moment since. We raised six sons and the last caboose was the only daughter. We have 30 grandkids and six great. We have lived in many places and have made many friends in each place.
Since 1969 we have worked in a family-owned business (now run by our children. I am still active in the business.) We have had many exciting business trips combined with pleasure. Our most memorial trip was to Indonesia where we were guests of the prince and princess and met the Sultan at his palace. The greatest part of our business has been the satisfaction of knowing that our business has touched the lives of many people for good with both their health and their financial well-being. We were blessed on going on a mission for the church to Haywood California for 18 months. (We were there during the last reunion, I missed being with all with you all.)
Hobbies/interests/talents: being with my family and friends anytime and especially the fishing and camping trips with them. Reading, studying the Gospel, and nutrition, taking care of my small vegetable and flower gardens (just the size I can manage now), and taking walks. Traveling on business trips with interesting and fun side trips included.
