Darrell Rose-981 W 170 S Orem, Utah - 84058 (801)765-0588
Class Activities at BRHS most influenced my life for the past 55 years.
Seminary, typing & 6th hour P.E.
LIFE THESE PAST 55 YEARS:
Employed a short time at Hill A.F.B.
Served 3 years 10 months and 23 days in the USAF.
Graduated from BYU (60) Southern Illinois Univ ((61) Univ of Oklahoma (65)
Taught at Tulsa Univ. Colorado State University, Northern Illinois Univ.
Married Dorline Hill Nov 18, 1955. We have 4 great kids, 15 moderately great grandchildren and 2 ½ great grandkids.
Was director of Audiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and Jacksonville, Florida for 24 years. Retired in July 1994. Served missions in India, London Temple, Scotland and Nebraska Omaha missions. Still doing some consulting for a couple of companies and take lots of naps. .
I try to stay active although I would rather nap than work. I am scheduled to teach two sessions a month in various parts of the USA and Canada for a hearing aid organization for the next year or so. I have spent a good deal of time over the last several years doing consulting work for a Utah company. Have enjoyed Church Service in nearly all areas. I have been spared activity in Relief Society and YMMIA. My most enjoyable church calling was as a Stake President in Rochester, Minnesota. As Mac Thompson said about me, “You as a Stake President would really test one’s faith.” He really knows how to hurt a person.
It will be good seeing all you “old” people.
