CLASS OR ACTIVITIES THAT MOST INFLUENCED ME:: In retrospect there were probably more than I recall but some nice lessons from those years have blessed my life.
My life since 1952: well I haven't written many books and I haven't set any world records or been elected mayor, et cetera.
I was fortunate to serve a mission for the LDS Church and was invited to serve in the US Navy for a while. With considerable effort I managed to get a college degree.
Along the way I was lucky enough to marry a beautiful and wise girl. We walked and worked together for 28 days short of 50 years. (She died 2-1-07). Oh how I miss her.
We raised four sons (two of which have died) and one daughter. Our children have given us 18 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. How we love them.
We have endeavored to live with honor and to assist others along the way.
Some time ago I started a little business, “Varge Christensen Draperies”. It has been a fun and profitable adventure. I'm still active in the business because clients continue to call and I continue to work.
LIFE is good!
Hobbies/interests/talents: I like to listen to good music, watch grandchildren participate in sports, theater, etc.
